Foreword by L. H. Bailey. Green cloth with a floral stamp to the front board. The gilt on the spine is still bright. Previous owner's Christmas gift inscription from 1927 on the front free endpaper. The dust jacket has a shallow chip to the head of the spine and corners. The top of the front flap is clipped, with the publisher's price of $2.00 at the bottom. Poems about septic tanks, paved sidewalks, rotating crops, planting trees and many other topics. Robert Morrill Adams taught agricultural subjects as an extension teacher for Cornell State University, and these poems were widely syndicated in newspapers in the US and Canada. ; 220 pages.
