First Edition. 8vo, (8 1/2 x 6 inches). Bound in full limp vellum with overlapping edges, cover gilt-stamped ruled box and inside lettering, original beige silk ties. Title page, headbands and tailpieces by Samuel Warner. Printed in black and red on Boxmoor paper. This title was curiously not designed for watercolor decoration (the choice of Boxmoor paper, because of its absorbency, discouraged hand-coloring). Near fine. Scarce thus.
