Item description from seller

First edition, first impression. Some edge wear, chipping and closed tears to top and bottom of fab ott jacket and spine, pine slightly faded, some slight yellowing to inside flaps, price clipped, no inscriptions, internally clean tight and square, overall a vg+ copy for its age. 144pp, illustrated. Prince George of Teck was a relative of the British Royal Family, a great great grandson of King George III and nephew of Queen Mary, the consort of King George V. He was also nephew to the 1st Earl of Athlone. He was the elder son of the 1st Marquess of Cambridge, formerly the Duke of Teck, and his wife, the former Lady Margaret Grosvenor. He succeeded his father as 2nd Marquess of Cambridge in 1927 and married Dorothy Isabel Westenra Hastings (1899-1988), daughter of The Hon. Osmund William Toone Westenra Hastings, who was a younger son of the 13th Earl of Huntingdon. This is a selection of favourite Royal recipes, I particularly liked Oeufs Piquante.
