Oblong (15 x 23.5 cm). 57, [1, colophon] pages. 13 black-and-white photographic illustrations of process, including the final two of pouring and toasting with a glass of brandy! 24 specimens tipped in. Original quarter vellum, patterned-paper boards (light wear at the corners). Text set in Centaur and Codex types and printed on Hodgkinson hand made B & B paper. Paste paper made at the press, the binding done by Edward G. Parrott II. Includes sections on rollers and design, the printing board and its use, paper and dampening, making paste and color mixing, and customary paste paper techniques. Reference: Taylor A16. A fine copy First edition, one of approximately 215 copies (this is number 170).
