Rodney Graham (b. 1949) is one of Canada's most esteemed contemporary artists. His work explores the layers of Western culture and collective memory, drawing on a wide range of references from philosophy, psychoanalysis, art history, and popular culture. Graham is best known for his monumental photographic pieces, where he takes on various disguised and fictional roles. His work combines subtle nostalgia and melancholy with a gentle sense of humor and poetic irony. Related to the exhibition at Serlachius Museum Gösta, Mänttä, Finland, 24 October 2020 - 18 April 2021. Text in Finnish and English. 94 pp.
