White card cover stock with spine & cover titles in blue, tinted b/w photo center; 12mo (approx 5.0"x7.0") 78+14 pg addendum; illustrated with 11 full-page b/w photos plus 1 drawing; no publication date stated but preface done in 1910. Primarily fishing for (large) tarpon plus snook and calipoeva. The section at end of book, "Rivers, Fish, Bait, etc" lists by parish, the rivers, types of fish found, productive baits, time of day, etc. Much of Strachan's tarpon catches were made using the fly. This copy in good condition with inked name on front cover, cover wear and light soiling and scattered foxing. An extremely scarce work not cited by any of the angling bibliographers nor has appeared at auction in the last 25 years. Seller Inventory # 003969
