About this Item

Description:

"FIRST EDITION", "Copyright, 1952" and "L. C. Card #52-8972" on its copyright page, with publisher's original "$2.00 price on its jacket's front flap. This book is in surprisingly very good condition for its age, marred only by slight spine lean, some rubbing on the cloth of its hardcovers, and light bumps on its covers' spine ends and front bottom corner. Its binding is sound, with no spine crease. Pages are unmarked and unworn, with no apparent age toning to their paper. Its dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is in fair condition, bright and whole, marred only by a 5" scrape on its front with some related light stain or discoloration, plus light wear on the ends of its spine, on its front flap fold, and along its back spine fold, with two tiny chips in its top edge, and some faint soiling on its white back.
