Philadelphia: David McKay, 1917. First edition, (dated MCMXVII on the title page), square 8vo (9 ½ x 7), pp.(8), 9-362, color title& 8 color plates after N.C. Wyeth with no tissue guards. (Allen, N.C.WYETH, p. 202, listing for this title calls for plain tissue inserts for the eight plates). Original gilt stamped green cloth with color plate on the upper side, pictorial endpapers, top edges gilt. Front panel of the original dust jacket somewhat edge tattered & with lower corner torn off is laid in. Very good copy with light minor natural wear. Sheets clean. Plates with some light old tape ghosts marks of little matter, unmarked, complete. H9243 All Items Are Sent Insured. Insurance charges are included in the Shipping & Handling Charges.
