Very good hardback with jacket. Also contains five small B&w photos from the Centennial parade, dated 1973. Slight compression to spine & corners, minor marks. Previous owner's name stamp to title page & foreword. 240 pages with photos. Jacket is rubbed and chipped with a little loss to top of spine. Spine is dulled down. With map and illustrations, a detailed history of this district in Southland's Waimea Plains area. This book is the centennial story of the people of Riversdale and surrounding districts. The town of Riversdale is in the heart of the prosperous farming country of the Waimea Plains, Southland where the NZ Agricultural Company established its local headquarters in 1878.
