Original stapled wraps, 11-1/2 inches tall, pp. 64, illustrated with B&W photos throughout. Covers with creases, short closed tears and soil, text toned. Three issues have the price changed to 30 cents by a red or black pencil; all have small date rubber stamps to the front cover. The September issue is 11 inches tall and priced by the publisher at 35 cents. Charles Atlas ads to rear covers. All together four issues. January issue with Archie Moore cover; March issue with Jimmy Carter cover; April issue with Rocky Marciano cover; September issue with Rocky Marciano cover. The Ring magazine - first published in New York City in 1922 - is the oldest existing sports publication in the United States.
