127 Pages. Author Alana Stevenson provides readers with the basic principles of animal learning so they can effectively remedy behavioral issues using only a positive, humane approach. Resolve tough issues such as separation anxiety, fear of strangers, aggression, lunging while on the leash, jumping on visitors, barking, car sickness, and more. Using rewards rather than punishment, Alana provides easy-to-follow, gentle, and highly effective methods and advice for teaching dogs polite manners. By learning how to communicate well with dogs, you can teach your dog how to come when called, sit, lie down, stay, look at you, walk on a leash, eliminate outdoors, and behave nicely around people and other dogs. Your dog will have fun learning through the use of special training games that you both will enjoy playing together.
