Postage and packing is charged at our rate listed with ABE. However it is worth pointing out that UK postage just goes on going up and that sending a huge Fine Art book to Timbuctoo is simply not going to travel there for six or seven quid. On more recent listings we include a warning to this effect in the description of heavier books. We feel that clarifying this is in everyone's best interests and mention it because mostly we're not paperback merchants and include a sizeable number of hefty books in our stock. Even surface mail is creeping up and in due course may it may be that we're entering a time when sending heavy books overseas will soon be no longer feasible unless you're happy to take out a mortgage for the fee.
