[1860 Antebellum Banking & Currency Pamphlet - Intact Copy]An original first edition of the pre-Civil War banking tract titled "On the Restoration of the Standard of Value, and the Proper Limit to the Use of Bank Credit as Money" by W. P. Tatham. Published in Philadelphia and printed by Sherman & Co. in 1860. Octavo format, original softcover cream paper wrappers.Historical Significance: A deep look into the volatile pre-war monetary debates in America, specifically assessing the limits of bank credits, gold standards, and currency stability on the immediate eve of secession and the outbreak of the Civil War. Condition Report: Good / Very Good. An authentic, completely intact, and unrestored copy. Both front and rear wrappers are fully present. The original string binding remains secure. The interior text block is exceptionally crisp, bright, and legible with almost no foxing or age-staining. The front cover wrapper features a neat, contemporary Roman numeral marking ("XXVIII") cleanly written in pencil. Minor wear and very subtle aging along the outer margins, but an excellent, well-preserved reference copy for collections of American fiscal history.Final Master Pricing StrategyNow that we have visually verified the items, here is your finalized, rock-solid pricing matrix for listing them separately:Item #1 (Tatham, 1860): $.…
