American edition, first printing (stated), 1959. With original clipped jacket. Illustrations by Garth Williams. Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, numerous tears, patchy browning, a little patchy loss (mainly to head/tail of spine and to corners), creasing/rubbing to edges, few marks, rubbing, pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, pushing/bumping to corners, minor fading to spine, minor foxing, few small patches of loss to top (picture surface), little rubbing/browning/creasing to front/back inner flaps, few scratches/scrapes (which has led to a couple of very small holes and is in only fair condition. Boards are very good (having been well protected by the jacket) with minor pushing/bumping to corners, the odd small mark, a little patchy browning, minor patchy fading and minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Pages little tanned. Previous owner's small name and address sticker is stuck onto the front end-paper. Occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.
