Rare original 1832 copy. The book is overall in good condition with some signs of wear and age. The covers have some moderate soiling and wear. The binding is good and sound. There are some medical library bookplates/labels to the front endpapers and a name inscription in fountain pen & some penciled notations to the front free endpaper. The interior is lightly toned from age with just some occasional foxing. A few pages have some marginal chipping which does not affect the text, the most pronounced of which is on page 127/128. Along with that there may be the very occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection such as a creased page corner, small tear, light bit of soiling or grubbiness, minor marking, etc. The book measures approximately 9 1/4 inches by 5 7/8 inches and is 190 pages long. It is illustrated with a folding frontispiece map which has a few linen repairs to the backside. The chart plate and other folding map called for are no longer present.
