Early (May, 1959) if not second printing. The book has some small pencil underlinings and marks but still mostly clean inside, with a bit of tanning, spine is tight, boards rigid with front hinge leaning a little. The spine ends have some wear, sunning to edges of boards. Thumb size stain on bottom front cover. The jacket is unclipped but has small frey, tear and loss at most edges and corners especially spine ends and at some tips and along an edge or two. Looks presentable in a new plastic cover.
