First edition. First issue with wings printed in red on the title page. Bound in original maroon cloth lettered in gilt with tittle blocked in black on the front cover; lacking the unprinted glassine wrap. Near Fine with light rubbing to cloth at extremities and front cover, small abrasion to front free endpaper and pages lightly toned. A privately printed book intended for the Kennedy family and close friends, in memorandum of Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr., JFK's older brother who died in World War II. The first issue was printed in a run of 390 copies.
