Vol II, Title page + ii + 499 pages + 3 fold outs, Quarter Leather hard back binding fair, rear fair/good with wear, spine worn, front cover fair/good detached with wear. Contents Mostly very good, clean & tight, a few minor edge pencil lines, a few minor marks, a group of pages with ageing (looks like some of the paper used was of poor quality). Pages 121/2 are a 5 page fold-out, also there are 3 other un-numbered fold-outs. . Vol III, Title page + ii + 528 pages + 2 fold outs, Quarter Leather hard back binding fair, rear fair/good with wear, spine worn, lacks front cover. Contents Mostly very good, clean & tight, a few minor edge pencil lines, a few minor marks, a group of pages with ageing (looks like some of the paper used was of poor quality), a few pages with a stain, Pages 179 is a 3 page fold-out, 180/rear blank, also there are 2 other un-numbered fold-outs. . Vol IV, xi (including Title page + 330 pages + 1 fold out. Quarter Leather hard back binding fair, rear fair/good with wear, spine worn, front cover fair/good detached with wear. Contents Mostly very good, clean & tight, a few minor edge pencil lines, a few minor marks, a few pages with ageing. Pages 189/190 are a 3 page fold-out, also there are 8 other un-numbered fold-outs. . Vol II & III state the 7th edition (earlier editions seem to be only 2 volumes), in this vol II states in 3 volumes considerably enlarged, then 3 years later added the 4th volume (no edition so presume 1st edition of the contents) that includes the troops of the East Indies. So Although lacking vol 1, here are 3 volumes contents looking complete, tight, mostly very good, with some faults as listed in need of rebinding.
