Discoloration to the edge of the boards, nick to the edge of the spine but internally clean. A tipped-in notice on the ffep and paragraph in the introduction, suggest this is the second issue of the 1879 First Edition, identical in all ways. Quite a profusely illustrated railroad guide to Colorado and Florida and places in between.
