Blue cloth with light staining to boards; spine's lettering dulled but legible; front board's gilt stamping still fairly bright; light fraying/bumping at spine ends and board corners. Toning and foxing to leaves usually strongest to book's unpaged b/w plates and their adjoining leaves; some leaves at book's center have faint staining at upper fore-edge margins; non-authorial ink gift inscription on front free endpaper.
