112 pp., 25 sepia-toned photographic plates, oblong quarto, original natural linen cloth over boards, pictorial inset on front cover. Publisher prospectus laid in. At time of publication only 26 copies of the 1884 original Cherry edition of Redwood and lumbering were known to exist, of which "no two contain the same illustrations." Peter Palmquist has selected the 25 most striking images from the original editions to reproduce here, together with a catalogue of all the images. Designed and printed by James Robertson at the Yolla Bolly Press in a limited edition of 600 copies. Small oval dark spot the size and shape of a large olive) at center of front fixed endpaper, else fine.

We had our open bookshop in the town of Sonoma for a total of 17 years, including 9 years at our East Napa St. location, however, as of April 13, 2013 we have closed our doors. Our business is now conducted online, by appointment, and occasionally at antiquarian bookfairs at which we exhibit annually.
