1st 1977. Nearly fine condition in a nearly fine dustwrapper. A monograph of the family Rallidai with a chapter on fossil species by Olson. Very large format. Burgundy cloth spine with gilt title and vignette, beige cloth boards. Coloured frontis and 41 superb colour plates together with 17 distribution maps. xx + 406 pages. A book in almost fine condition with faint tape marks to endpapers in a dustwrapper which is slightly faded at spine and lightly creased at edges, small amount of loss to top of spine. Contained in original slipcase which has been covered with green cloth which is now coming unstuck at ends and is bubbled. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched.
