Stated first Evergreen edition, 1983, first printing. Paperback. Approx. 10.75 x 8.75 inches. Semi-glossy paper wrappers, full-pictorial. Impressively clean wrappers with very minimal signs of wear; minor creasing along the spine edge. With 180 numbered pages on coated stock. The book's first section consists of texts of the screenplay. The second section features color photos and dialogues. A few of the photos are explicit. A Very Good Plus copy. 1 lb. 15 oz. Published coincident with the release of the film Querelle. Querelle (1982/1983) is Rainer Werner Fassbinder's final, highly stylized queer film exploring murder, intense desire, and betrayal. Adapted from Jean Genet's novel Querelle de Brest, the English-language film stars Brad Davis as a murderous sailor in a surreal, dreamlike French port setting. It is noted for its intense artificiality and bold gay imagery. Filmed in 1982 and released shortly after Fassbinder's death at age 37.

Store description
Welcome to the books platform of Marc Sena Carrel. I operated a professional book business between 2003 and 2017 in the San Francisco Bay Area, including via AbeBooks, and I am now a private party selling off fine books from my personal collection. I carry a choice selection of books, prints and ephemera for the discriminating customer. I focus on scholarly and antiquarian books, with a special emphasis on art books. From time to time I also offer original prints, including but not limited to antique Japanese ukiyo-e prints. Additionally I go in for occasional ephemera. Currently on offer via Abebooks are select titles. My selection is more eclectic and off the beaten path than mainstream and predictable. Please e-mail me at marcsenacarrel@gmail.com if you have any questions or concerns. I will be happy to be of service. Thank you.…

Shipping terms
We wrap and package very carefully and we ship promptly, usually within 1 business day of a paid order. USPS Media Mail usually includes a tracking number. Priority Mail always includes a tracking number. International rates to be determined at time of sale depending on weight and destination; we will contact you regarding shipping costs. We regret the recent substantial and unfriendly increase in rates by USPS for international parcels. Generally speaking, our default shipping fees are set somewhat conservatively. We never seek to make a profit from shipping fees. Delivery is guaranteed for all books and prints, and expensive items are insured as a matter of course without extra charge. Payment by U.S. check, cash, USPS or international money order, wire transfer, credit card and PayPal. Courtesy discount to colleagues and libraries or institutions, which may be invoiced. Sorry, California residents (non-dealers) will be charged appropriate sales tax.
