With the supplementary commentaries ascribed to Hirtius and others, and with the extensive Index Rerum et verborum Memorabilium, quae in Commentariis Caesaris Habentur. In a contemporary boarded and slotted vellum with manuscript title to spine. Caesar's account of De bello Gallico, De bello civili, De bello Alexandrino, and De bello Africano. Ffep with manuscript dedication and stamp of the Capuchin Monastery, Velp (North Brabant). Title page with old ink stain from removal of previous ownership mark. A complete and clean copy of this important work in a good contemporary binding, strengthened to front hinge and tail.
