It tells you the ingredients for making certain fireworks including those set under water, etc. Purifying nitre, boring rockets, the materials for fireworks, grinding the ingredients, mixtures used for colours and lights of various effects, The most effective way of manufacture, making of simple fireworks, , crackers, stars, serpents, batteries of maroons, pin-wheels, showers of rains, fountains, etc. + Compound Fire-works and the introduction of the mixtures in the head of the fire-work + Dimensions of Rocket Sticks + the construction of all of the above. Remember this is the 1822 version of making fire-works and ALL genuine. Some light foxing to plates and text also, but still very good on quality rag paper. Plates would frame well!
