An alien pyramid has appeared in the middle of Chicago, destroying the city as it grows, and snatching people to be transported into worlds of mythology. One of the victims, Dr Lucas, an expert on mythology, finds that modern weapons don't work, and the Greek gods are out to kill them all.

Store Description

Uncle Hugo's started in 1974 and Uncle Edgar's in 1980 in different store fronts. Both stores moved into a much larger location in 1984. Rioters burned that location to the ground on May 30, 2020, wiping out over $1 million in books. In August, 2022 we reopened a new brick-and-mortar store at 2716 E. 31st St., about 2 miles east of our old location.
