Add to basketUnpaginated 26pp book of Christmas Greetings created and privately printed by Dr C. Charles Burlingame for his friends. The book is based on the writings of a former slave, Publilius Syrus, who at the age of 12, was brought to Rome from Syria in 52 B.C. by an Army officer. The book is printed on hand made paper at The Sign of the Stone Book Press, Hartford, Connecticut. Cream paper covered boards with brown illustration and title on front cover. Untrimmed fore edge and lower page edges. Drawings throughout by Kathryn Howard. Original glassine paper wrapper, torn in places. Further protected now in a clear archival envelope. In near fine condition.
