First published in Dutch as Verbondsgeschiedenis. "This is the story of God's dealings with His people. In volume II we see that His promise of a land has been fulfilled. The Israelites have taken over the land of Canaan. But they are unfaithful to the covenant and repeatedly go astray. When God punishes them for their unfaithfulness, they cry out for deliverance and God answers their cries. We are shown a parade of judges and kings, each of them called to reflect something of the glory of the King who was to come." Jacket is price-clipped. Rare book.
