Item description from seller

First editions, three parts in one volume partially interleaved with blank pages for notes (all unused), each part with its own title page, date, and pagination (Part One: 1893, Part Two: 1895, Part Three: 1913). 65; [iii], 55-141; [vi], 131-194pp. Illustrated in black and white from drawings and photographs including "specimens of representative book bindings." Half black leather navy blue cloth boards, spine with raised bands creating six compartments, the second compartment from the top with "Profession of Bookselling" in gilt and the fourth from the top with "Growoll" in gilt, page edges speckled in red, and decorative endpapers. Boards and spine worn and light offsetting along the edges of the endpapers, overall still a very good copy with the binding sound and tight. This is the only complete and bound set of this publication we've come across.
