First Edition. Octavo, original Amy Richards designed decorative cloth and dustjacket. Basis for the 1923 Stoll film starring Henry Victor and Collette Brettel. Iceland set novel dealing mainly with the lives of two brothers, one of whom steals the others betrothed away and marries her only to then fall in love with her younger sister, causing along the way the death of his wife. Near Fine bright copy, some soiling to top page edge, in Very Good dustjacket, some nicks and mild soiling to white panels.
