Limited Edition of 500. Comprising of a gilt ended wooden scroll and accompanying booklet bound in brown Japanese velum all housed in box. Booklet 8vo, soft cover with gilt titles to front cover, pp43 with 5 pages of index and 3 plates and 1 page of music at rear in very good condition, clean and bright within, a few spots of foxing, curled as usual to fit in box. Descriptive box with title top front in red in good condition with some scuffing , rubbing to all edges with a few small splits to lid. Silk tartan covered scroll ( approx 4.5 meters in length) in excellent condition , no foxing, aging etc. This is a lithographic copy of a design, intended primarily for execution in metal as a frieze on some public building, but unrealised was published as a lesson-picture for schools.
