There are no copies listed on WorldCat. This work opens with a monochrome keynote block and adds a new colour on each double-page spread, progressively building up to the final print. Tsuchiya Koitsu (1870-1949) made his name working in the studio of Watanabe Shozaburo, and along with artists such as Kawase Hasui, Yoshida Hiroshi, and Ito Shinsui, became known as one of the pioneers of the shin-hanga movement. Many of his full-size works were printed by the publisher Doi Hangaten, who also released this work. Small octavo, concertina-style (157 x 106 mm). With 10 colour woodblock prints and 10 colour impressions of individual blocks, all laid down. Original light brown boards, title label lettered in black, boards decorated with colour vignettes. Prints bright, a few closed tears neatly repaired: a near-fine copy.
