Add to basket21x21cm, 38pp. Booklet bound in cream card covers, reproductions of Gregynog Press devices printed in red to the front and rear, an ink inscription to the head of p2 'Kenyon. April 1976'. Laid-in are two cards with reproductions of coloured initial letters from the Gregynog Press 'The Stealing of the Mare' (1930), a card with a wood-engraving by Reynolds Stone from 'The Praise and Happinesse of the Countrie Life' (1938), and a card with a Robert Maynard wood engraving tipped-on to the inner front cover. The useful and generously-illustrated short history of the Press, published for the 1976 Gregnog Press touring exhibition. The personal copy of Lord Kenyon, the chairman of Gwasg Gregynog from 1978 to 1991 and the prime mover behind the revival of the pre-war Press. The four cards, although not printed at Gregynog, were also done for the exhibition and are rather attractive. Very Good (sun-fading to the spine, the front cover slightly distorted at its hinge from the tipped and laid-in additional material).
