Original decorated cloth boards, colour plates by Elena Balbusso, pp xv, 335. Near fine condition, in like slipcase. Published on the two hundredth anniversary of first publication: "one of the most famous and enjoyable novels in the language [.] [the book] may well do for two hundred more [years]". (Faulks, Introduction.) This edition follows the text of the 1813 edition, including the "often idiosyncratic" spelling.
