Astronomer Frank W. Very's tract on Emanuel Swedenborg's "Principia" as a bridge between science and religion. The book previously belonged to the Harvard College Conservatory and has their blind stamp at the top edge of the cover and first few pages. Text is unmarked; pages are bright, though the page edges are a little age toned. The first and last end pages are very age toned. Binding is sturdy. Covers show some light wear around the corners and at the head and base of the spine. There is a presentation inscription from a previous owner in pen on the front cover and a date stamp from 1929. The word "Swedenborg's" on the front cover is underlined in orange grease pencil. Seller Inventory # 068675
