Green cloth with gilt titles & cover decoration; 12mo; 216pp; illustrated with title page vignette plus line drawings; cream pictorial dust jacket, titled in green. "A book which helped shape methods and thoughts on trout fishing. The first American book on the dry fly." (Bruns G-50) This copy in G to VG condition with light mottling to front cover cloth, bright gilt titles, former owner's name inked to front free endpaper o/w quite clean. The scarce dust jacket is heavily damaged with paper loss on front panel, chipping to spine ends, rear panel VG. Only the 2nd copy I have offered in jacket.
