Overall good, with light marks to front cover. Fraying to binding along corners of boards, along with head and heel of spine. Light starting to rear hinge. Text block remains bound well. Includes an assortment of black-and-white photographs throughout. Loss of original dust jacket, if issued. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A extremely scarce first edition by Ward Louis Piggy Lambert (1888-1958), an American basketball and baseball coach and author. He served as the head coach of Purdue University of almost three decades, including a continuous stint from 1918 to 1946. He was the namesake for Lambert Fieldhouse at Purdue, and was instrumental in helping to found the National Basketball Association. This was one of the first prominent basketball guides, with much of its content remaining instrumental into the present day.
