First edition book in later dust jacket (priced at 1/-). A supernatural novel. Book cover aged, interior sound. Dust jacket worn and chipped, as pictured. Rider also published Bram Stoker's novels at this time, and the jacket has advertisements for Dracula and Stoker's other books; Also on back an ad for Reginald Hodder's The Vampire, and Elliot O'Donnell's Byways of Ghostland, among others. Front flap lists Possessed as a "new and cheaper edition" -- but it appears only the dust jacket has been updated.
