thick 4to, ca. 9" x 11" , pp. 1217, [5 of index], (but pagination is peculiar- some page numbers are repeated, some pages unnumbered, early pages done't seem to be missing, but numbers start ca. 10) - plus lots of fine steel plate engravings of Presidents, Governors of Michigan, men important to the history of Michigan up to the time of publication, bound in brown leather that is heavily decorated and with gilt lettering, all edge gilt, there is light to moderate wear to the leather, the content may be slightly age toned, but generally near fine condition. The portraits and other views are fine. Overall, a very good copy of this work. The front joint inside is showing some wear- due the weight of the book. There is a name of earlier owner written on front end paper and a repair to the front endpaper which appears to be made with archival document tape. Shipping outside the USA will cost significantly more than an average book and priority shipping within the USA will also cost more due to size and weight. Seller Inventory # 17283
