Quarto. Blue cloth gilt. Name of the publisher and co-founder of Ziff-Davis, Bernard G. Davis ("B.G. Davis") in gilt on front board. Bottom corner bumped, issues trimmed slightly, very good. The first three issues of "Popular Boating" (October-December, 1956) bound into a cloth binding with wrappers present and bound in. Davis and William B. Ziff, Jr. founded the publishing company in 1927 which originally specialized in hobby magazines, it has since gone through several different evolutions, most recently being acquired by a cloud computing company.
