[14], 1-387, [3] pp. Glazed contemporary purple pebble-grain cloth, bevelled boards with several gilt and black borders and gilt decorations on the boards, brilliant gilt decorations to the turn-ins, spine in six compartments with gilt lettering and decorations; all edges gilt. Beautiful textured blue, white, and gold endpapers and pastedowns. The bookbinder's ticket of Henry Miller of New York on the rear pastedown. With a frontispiece and in-text designs (100 wood engravings total) by Birket Foster, J. Wolf, and John Gilbert, engraved by the brothers Dalziel. Selected and edited by Robert Aris Willmott. One of many collections of Wordsworth's poetry that have been published over the centuries, but this is the first edition thus of Routledge's profusely illustrated volume of the Romantic poet's work.
