First edition. Oblong slim quarto. With one color illustration by Coffey. Light wear and a bit of rubbing, near fine. Brian Coffey (1905-1995), poet and publisher, was born in Dublin. He lived in Paris in the 1930s, where he was influenced by the Surrealists and was a friend of Samuel Beckett. He later studied typography and design and founded Advent Books in 1966.
