Two volumes, octavo. xix, [1, blank], 388; iv, 412 pp. Engraved title-pages, twelve engraved plates, and numerous vignettes in text. The illustrations are scenes from Cowper's life and works. Contemporary full green straight-grain morocco. Gilt-decorated spines, gilt borders on covers with grapevine design, gilt turn-ins, all edges gilt. Spines a bit darkened, joints and corners lightly rubbed, some offsetting from plates. A very good copy in a handsome binding. First edition thus.

We are members of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers. We have books from the 15th to the 20th century in all prices ranges.
