Binding is tight & square, no cracking. Pages and edges are clean, with clean endpapers; no names, writing or bookplates. Very faint smudge on copyright page. Slight offset (browning) on pages 114-115 from bookmark. Illustrated by E. M. Ashe, including frontis illustration with clean tissue guard, 389 pages.
