Rare original 1872 Victorian architecture book of Young's "Picturesque Architectural Studies and Practical Designs for Gate Lodges, Cottages, Cottage Hospitals, Villas, Vicarages, Country Residences, Schools, Village Churches, Etc." The book is overall in good condition with some minor signs of wear and age. The covers have some moderate scuffing and wear. There is cracking to the paper at the interior hinges, but the leather joints are firm and the binding is good & sound. The front fep has a penciled name inscription. The interior is lightly toned from age but mostly nice and clean with just the occasional light bit of foxing and grubbiness. Along with that there may be the occasional page with some kind of minor imperfection such as a creased page corner, tiny tear or chip, minor stain or marking, etc. Generally though, it's a good copy.
