PhotoShop Elements X QuickSteps is a combination of ready reference and simplified tutorials, like a recipe book for computer users. Introductory and explanatory texts are reduced to a minimum. The books focus instead on just the steps users need to immediately accomplish their goals.
3D icons alert the reader to useful notes, tips and cautions that are displayed in the margins so that they don’t break the flow of information in the quick steps themselves. Captions and pointers ensure that the reader is never confused about what part of the screen shot is being discussed.
