"First Edition" stated with no other printing indication - 1st, toning to edges of text block - some fading along top/bottom edges of boards with light soiling to bottom edges - fading to top 11/2" of spine - light/faint foxing to front/rear end papers - a former owners name stamped to upper right of front free end paper, mylar enclosed dj shows edge wear with tiny chips to corners and soiling to rear panel - 3/8" closed tear top right of rear panel - 7/8" wide x 11/2" deep piece missing at top of spine with associated 1/2" tear and chipping to bottom edge of faded spine - some scuffing to edge of fold rear panel to spine - light soiling/foxing to top and right edges of rear flap, original price intact, numerous black & white photographs reproduced full page of U.S. Marines engaged during the Korean War, pages not numbered.
