Marbled endpapers. 12 issues bound together, illustrated with 13 mounted albumen photographs (17 x 12 cm and smaller) by WILLIAM NOTMAN, WENDEROTH, TAYLOR & BROWN, F.S. KEELER, J.H. KENT. Includes sample albumen of Rawson's Multiplying Reflector, achieved using multiple mirrors. Other in-text illustrations throughout. Includes list of photographic Premiums ("Extra") awarded by American Institute at the late New York exhibition (circa November 1867). "LEADING PHOTOGRAPHIC PERIODICAL OF THE DAY."
