LARGE VOLYME - 10" x 6 1/2" x 1 3/4". This has a reset spine with part of the original leather spine laid on. Edges show heavy wear with spotting and staining to the green hardcover and leather corners. 404 Pages plus 24 pages of ads are tanned and show light wear and soiling. Marbled endpapers. 12 issues bound together, illustrated with 13 mounted albumen photographs (17 x 12 cm and smaller) by WILLIAM NOTMAN, WENDEROTH, TAYLOR & BROWN, F.S. KEELER, J.H. KENT. Includes sample albumen of Rawson's Multiplying Reflector, achieved using multiple mirrors. Other in-text illustrations throughout. Includes list of photographic Premiums ("Extra") awarded by American Institute at the late New York exhibition (circa November 1867). "LEADING PHOTOGRAPHIC PERIODICAL OF THE DAY."
