Cm. 22, pp. xx, 119 (1). Fregio al frontespizio, testate e capolettera. Bella leg. coeva in cart. dipinto. Qualche piccola mancanza al dorso, peraltro esemplare genuino e marginoso, in barbe. Opera che presenta il risultato delle osservazioni di occultazione da parte della luna effettuate dal Padre Audifreddi durante il 1753 al fine di identificare la posizione della sua specola. Vi si rintraccia la prima scoperta della molteplicit� del sistema di Spica (in particolare nell'esservazione del 10 giugno 1753). Cfr. Costantini (Storia dell'astronomia): "Audifreddi noted that the emersion's duration from the bright lunar limb was not instantaneous"; Riccardi I, 59. Edizione originale, rara. Purtroppo priva delle due tavole f.t. citate da Iccu.
