Ships from Maine, USA ---------- Includes one archival pigment print signed and dated on the back. “I assemble photographic tableaux, draw, color, mark upon, and make use of collage routinely. There is a pencil, there is paper, sometimes scissors, and always light.” - Diane Pierce The works of Diane Pierce are mostly made at a small desk, where she creates a new story by arranging, composing, deconstructing, and reconstructing everyday objects and materials that are easily forgotten or left behind. Pierce also creates images through photographic experiments of light and paper, which are unique and distinctive in their style. Her collages are made with creative curiosity and imagination, mixed with various materials, drawings and text. This book is like a sketchbook that shows the artist’s experimental process. The sequence of the book, bound in a cohesive flow of single images seemingly paired by chance, no longer carries a verbal narrative but presents itself as a play of images that amuses the senses of the reader. Produced in a limited edition of 100 copies, the book includes 5 different series of works by the artist along with an original print signed and dated. Limited Edition, 100 copies 116 pages Soft cover, Hand-stitch binding.…
